The buffet and the electric live BBQ grill stay open for the whole cruise, so there is no rush.

    Check in at the berth and settle at your table. Masjid Al Rahim Mosque and Signature Hotel Dubai Marina are the closest landmarks.

    We cast off

    The dhow slips away from its berth and turns into the marina channel.

    Through Dubai Marina

    A slow sail between the marina towers, with the wheel of Ain Dubai rising ahead.

What time does the cruise start and how long does it last?

Boarding opens at 8:15 pm (8:30 pm for the Alexandra Sea Lounge). The boat departs at 9:00 pm and is back at the berth around 10:45 pm, so you spend about 1 hour 45 minutes on the water.

Where do I board?

In Dubai Marina. The nearest landmarks are Masjid Al Rahim Mosque and Signature Hotel Dubai Marina. For the Sea Lounge, search “Alexandra Sea Lounge” on Google Maps — it berths just behind the mosque. We send the exact boarding point with your booking confirmation.

Can I get there by metro?

Yes. DMCC Metro Station is about 1 km from the boarding point — a short walk or a quick taxi ride.

Do you offer hotel pickup?

Yes, on ticket options that include a transfer. If your booking includes pickup, wait in your hotel lobby (or your room) during the pickup window we send you.

Is dinner included? What about drinks?

Dinner is included on every cruise. The Marina Dhow Cruise also includes soft drinks and water. On the Alexandra dhow, alcoholic drinks can be ordered from the bar at an extra charge.

What entertainment is on board?

Every cruise has a live show. The Marina Dhow Cruise features a Tanoura dancer. On the Sea Lounge you get a Tanoura dance and light show in August and September, and a female vocalist with a DJ from October onwards. The Alexandra dhow runs its live entertainment programme from about 10:00 pm.
